At first glance, I thought these were a series of animated webisodes on their YouTube channel, but nooooooothis is the real-deal miniature zombie collection that you’ve been waiting for.

Chicago-based creator Shawn Recinto, had the idea when he kept seeing his kids acting out a zombie-apocalypse while playing with their little green army men.  After a quick search online, he realized that this idea was yet to come to fruition, hence: his invention!

The zombies are 2.5 inches tall, and available in two colors: Sickly Slime Green, or Puke Purple.  And, since these are only their first-edition ‘Series 1’ batch, you can sure as sh*t count on some further developments and additions in the very-near future.  Visit their online store here and buy some for the whole family.

Get a sneak peek at some pics of several different upcoming/potential models.

My rating: 9.6/10

The All-American Rejects - Kids In The Street (album art)

It’s been a long four years since the last album from The All-American Rejects. Following their third release, which received very mixed reviews to say the least, the Rejects have been far from quiet. Playing a summer of Warped Tour, wrapping up tours with Blink-182 and Taking Back Sunday, even doing a jam for Alice in Wonderland,  it’s obvious these four guys have been hard at work. (read the full review here)

The pacing, timing, tempos, and instrumentation of every track make each number stand out. As a result, this is the record that defines The All-American Rejects as more than just a “pop” or “rock” band – they’re here to rock ‘n roll and keep their name, and they sure as hell aren’t about to let anyone stop them. If Move Along got the name in lights, it’s Kids in the Street that ensures The All-American Rejects to be burning bright for years to come.
