The combination of beauty, talent, and brains is rarely personified in an individual as young and poised as singer/songwriter Devyn Rose, but in this case there is simply no denying it.
Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, she began her love of music at a very young age singing in a church choir. By the time she was 16, she moved to Bridgeport, CT and began taking dance lessons at Broadway Dance Center, where she studied all forms of dance including hip-hop, house, jazz, and ballet. American Idol finalist’s DEBUT SINGLE VIDEO: Gasoline
“An honest and bittersweet song about letting go or hanging on- Gasoline embarks on a journey on love and relationship. The lyrics are fragile as they are fearless. The music reflects nostalgia, of yearning for the past however troublesome or dark, and ultimately, of acceptance and coming to terms” - Official Press Release
The single was released on May 25th

Rahat is a Bengali Hip Hop artist from The Bronx New York.
He has been rapping for fun since Middle School as a way to impress his girlfriends, but it quickly evolved into a way of life once he saw how effective it was as both a form of stress relief and a way to tell the stories of his life and situations growing up in The Bronx.
My rating: 7.5/10

Here’s my Q/A with the artist himself:
Briefly introduce yourself, and your band if you play with one.
My name is Rahat and I am a Hip Hop artist. I’ve been rapping and producing for about five years now but recently I’ve taken to just sticking to my rap roots. I’ve been treating this as a hobby for the past couple years but now I’m starting to take it much seriously than before and music has basically started to become a very huge part of my life.
