Anyone who follows me will attest to my fascination with the psychology of business. When I first saw the title of Leon’s book, I was intrigued to know just as much about the author, as I was the contents of the publication..

It didn’t take me long to realize (judging by what I read on his Amazon Profile Page) that Leon Forte is quite the savvy business man and economist, who has a story to tell in his new book, “The Secrets of an Intelligent Consumer”, that will enrich your financial well-being and enlighten you as to how to live a more-manageable life.

I somehow stumbled upon this website, and was instantly drawn to it.  Merely because of my interest in nice cars, and as most of my followers know, I’m a sucker for a strategic concept.

The idea within “The Symbols of Success” was quite mind-fragging, from the beginning.

The Most Stunning Project of the Century??”, I asked myself.  ”Only one way to find out..

I had to know more, so I searched and searched for a way to get in touch with the team.

I found myself on a telephone conversation with Yuri Seretski, the VP of Business Development for the Symbol of Success Project, and recorded the interview with his permission.  Check it out below.

Eric Paul Erickson, The Angry Viking, is a Los Angeles based multimedia artist and performer. His unique background in theatre, media and politics have shaped his approach to the the arts. Since his teens, Eric has never really stopped performing. Some of his adventures, including his time working in the political arena required more performance than others.

Since his childhood, Eric has never really stopped performing. Some of his adventures, including his time working in the political arena required more performance than others.

Eric Erickson is a classically trained actor (USC School of Theatre) who has appeared in roles ranging from musical theatre (Conrad Birdie) to Shakespeare (Hamlet, Mercutio). He has appeared in commercials and projects for Toshiba, Intell and Novell and will next be seen in the feature film “The Middle” opposite Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas.

He has also hosted events from a few dozen people to thousands as the MC of one of Wrigleyville’s biggest bars.

Here’s the interview that I did with Eric :)

Swedish Alternative Goth-Punk Rock??  Blending life, madness and controversy?? Whoa..

Strikingly, the custom-coined-genre actually makes fitting sense when I listened to MADNESS OF THE NIGHT’s songs on ReverbNation.

Their official website is super simple, which gives you an idea of the basic aesthetic needed these days when representing your independent project.

Because most of my readers are artists and musicians, it’ll hit home when I say that this band reminds me of all the bands they claim to resemble: Dead Can Dance, The Sisters of Mercy, New Model Army, Devil Doll, Fields Of The Nephilim.

Give them a shot, you’ll definitely like what you hear..

This is great.  I am pleased to feature this book on my blog.  Check it out if you know what’s good for ya…

FREE PREVIEW of the book, special thanks to our friends at Amazon.com! (Click here.)

BOOK REVIEW: The title alone should be enough to make you wonder. The blurb on the book makes you slightly afraid, but when you start reading, you don’t want to stop. This book fit my personality from the first paragraph. If you think you have a hint of misery in your life, this book washes it all away.

I identified with the main character David and laughed out loud at times with his sarcastic and ridiculing

As every dedicated fan of The Beatles would do, I present this amazing Walking Tour of famous Beatle-landmarks, to be added to each and every one of our bucket lists!!

This review that I found on Celebrity Planet’s website says it all: “My wife and I went on the Beatles tour in London with George [the tour guide]. We couldn’t have been happier with the tour. George was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the Beatles. He showed us places where various Beatles lived, including the current home of Paul McCartney, the building where their famous 1969 rooftop concert took place, and most fun of all, Abbey Road Studios. George even stood out in the middle of a busy street to take a photograph of my wife and I walking through the legendary Abbey Road crosswalk. We highly recommend the Beatles Tour. Any and all Beatles fans will love it!”

Thanks for the review, Rick V, cause now you got me wanting to go to London again!! :)

A whole new level of sass! The Real Wino’s of the Okanagan show their true colours: red & white, with a hint of debauchery…

Whisker-A-NoGo ’ALBUM OF THE WEEK’ contributor: Mike McGill from INDIANS.

Ready, aaaaaaaaaand, go!
* * *

MM: I’m reviewing ___el ten eleven_(album name)_ by  __el ten eleven_(band name)__.

[How did you hear about the band/what was your first impression?]

MM: They sound like a mix between tortoise & the whitest boy alive__had a beautiful trippy baby.
Check out their official website here

MM: My favorite thing about the band is their writing. Super creative and full enough to be a 4 piece with the plethora of sound they create with a few looper pedals, some delay and octave decided. The kicker is, it’s only two dudes! A double necked bass/guitar and a drummer with a live kit and a keyboard on the side. The first self titled record is great from start to finish. One of my favorites in recent history, hands down.

MM: On a scale from 1-10:
Vocals: n/a (instrumental band:)
Musicianship: 10
Lyrics: n/a
Production: 9
Creativity: 10
Lasting Value: 10
Final Verdict: 10/10

I’d like to thank INDIANS for being rad.. and particularly Mike McGill for his contribution.  Like the band on Facebook and enjoy more music and videos!!
